Since October 2019, RIo Tinto and XCMG have reached a cooperation agreement on five GR2605 graders, which has opened the process of cooperation between Rio Tinto and XCMG on complete equipment, and the cooperation has gradually deepened.
In May 2020, based on the outstanding performance of XCMG's mining grader, the successful cooperation experience with Rio Tinto and XCMG's strict quality control according to Rio Tinto's requirements, Rio Tinto decided to cooperate with XCMG to develop high power grader GR5505.
